ACTPBB is a fine processing application. It collects information from different judicial organizations (e.g. police, coast guard and tax collectors) through official reports . With ACTPBB, all fines that are registered in the police system (ACTPOL) are transferred to the Public Prosecutor. ACTPBB allows for information that is posted to be neatly monitored and administered. The system makes it easier to keep track of the different categories of fines. Through the system it is easy to monitor which fines have NOT been paid and thus will need to be attended further in court. Court decisions are also registered in the system and consequently can be monitored further. Reminder letters can be generated through the system to be sent to individuals. ACTPBB is linked to the Border Management System (ACTBMS) in order to monitor when individuals who are entering or leaving the island have open fines.
